Tapestry Delivers a Record Holiday Quarter

Learn how Edgio helped Kate Spade, a Tapestry brand, accelerate page loads by 80%

The CEO of Tapestry (Kate Spade, Coach, Stuart Weitzman) recently announced details on the success of their digital business, which saw 27% revenue growth in Q4.

Edgio and began working together in 2021 as one of Tapestry’s first steps in their roadmap to unify strategic and technical visions for their website experiences. “We needed to unite technology, processes and people,” stated Apurva Parikh, Sr. Director of Digital Architecture at Tapestry.

Our work on accelerated page loads by 80%, lifted Revenue Per User by 7%, and dropped a five-week deployment cycle down to just two weeks.

Before Edgio, the site struggled with Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS), two metrics that have a major impact on the user experience. With point-and-click traffic routing and A/B testing at the edge and actionable performance monitoring, the fashion site now passes these metrics and has increased developer velocity.

Edgio’s speed and development wins have convinced business leaders at Tapestry to use our services for its largest business, Coach. We can do the same for you.
